Switzerland, France and Belgium all claim to have the best chocolate but the Ukrainians also make very good chocolates. It is a pleasant surprise, we had not heard of their love of chocolate before coming here. You gain a whole new respect for a country that serves coffee and chocolate as a morning treat! The variety of Ukrainian chocolate is impressive, it may take us several years to discover them all!
This picture is of one of our favourites, a BATON. These small dark chocolate bars are filled with a chocolate sauce and they only cost about 22 cents each! We keep a drawer full of them.
